A haystack fell into nine hands by inheritance in one night. A dairyman was walking with his packhorse through the village of Weisstannen and was talking to a young woman through the window. Suddenly she fell ill, fell backwards into her living room and gave up the ghost.

Eine Heuschrote fiel in einer Nacht erbsweise in neun Hände. Ein Zusenn ging mit seinem Saumross durch das Dorf Weisstannen und sprach durchs Fenster mit einer jungen Frauensperson. Plötzlich befiel sie die Krankheit; sie fiel rücklings in die Stube und gab den Geist auf.
