St. Anna’s Chapel was originally to be built near the Schwandsbrücke. During the night, however, the building material was carried up to Hemberg by angels. This happened in 1460, when a great conflagration had destroyed the church and several houses. So the chapel was built next to the new church. When the church was built in 1781, the chapel was incorporated into the new Catholic church as a crypt.

- Die St. Annakapelle
Die St. Annakapelle sollte ursprünglich bei der Schwandsbrücke gebaut werden. In der Nacht aber wurde das zugerüstete Baumaterial von Engelshand nach Hemberg hinaufgetragen. Das geschah im Jahr 1460, wo eine grosse Feuersbrunst die Kirche mit einigen Häusern zerstört hatte. Also baute man die Kapelle an die neue Kirche hin. Beim Kirchenbau von 1781 wurde die Kapelle als Krypta in die neue katholische Kirche eingebaut.
