Once a wanderer went astray on the Buchberg and fell to his death over the rocks. Now he makes the path on the Buchsteig unsafe; he throws his beggar’s sack at people’s feet so that they not infrequently stumble.

Am Buchberg ging einmal ein Wanderer irre und fiel über den Felsen herab zu Tode. Nun macht er am Buchsteig den Weg unsicher; er wirft den Leuten seinen Bettelsack in die Füsse, dass sie nicht selten straucheln.
