Schaan (Oberschan) is the oldest village in the world. Many, many years ago, the native people didn’t know where they were coming from, but when one man came to the village, they never knew. Now it’s been said that it’s from tufa, and then it’s been said to the tufa man. Some of the people said that, and he gave a good roast, and prevented a lot of unhappiness, and in a desperate situation, everyone had a lot of respect for him. But there were so many strange things going on, and there were always some very sincere and laid-back people, and when they had to go to the resting bench in front of them, they would have to be ashamed of themselves. From then on, the man had rushed out of the house and asked the driver for a roof and some bread as long as he was alive. That was enough, and the others had their tail covered; but the Tufmannli didn’t come back at all, and that was bad for the rest of the household.
